We Offer                                                                       [Sorry, but we don’t do snowboarding lessons]

Lessons  for people from age 6 upwards.  Whether you are a complete beginner or someone returning after a break, we can provide lessons.  If you are a member we offer improver lessons to take you on to the next level and further specialist lessons, for example mogul skiing.  We have a large team of volunteer instructors and coaches who have progressed from being recreational club members and there is a regular programme of instructor development during the winter season.  They are qualified by, and registered with, Snowsport England.  See the Lessons page for more details.

Club Membership  North Staffs Ski Club has been going since 1974 and is affiliated to Snowsport England, the Governing Body for the sport in England.  All people skiing at Kidsgrove, unless they are on a lesson with one of our instructors, must be a member.  As a member of North Staffs Ski Club you are also a member of Snowsport England, who will also hold a copy of your record. 
Members receive a regular Newsletter and may attend the annual Club Holiday that takes place in January, usually with 70+ people.  
On Sunday mornings Junior Club has exclusive use of the slope and our Junior members may attend at no extra cost.  There are two sessions where the team of instructors works with the juniors to progress their skiing through Snowsport England’s nine level Snowlife Award scheme.

Recreational skiing  When the slope is open (except Sunday mornings) all members may use the slope for recreational skiing.  The freestyle slope may similarly be used by members who have been approved by the relevant Club official and who have either signed a disclaimer (adults) or had a disclaimer signed by a parent.
